Beginning with application due dates on or after May 25, 2026, NIH will require all senior/key personnel to certify completion of Research Security Training (RST). Certification must be included in the SciENcv-generated Biographical Sketch at the time of submission.
Institutions must also certify compliance through the Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) signature. Syracuse University’s Research Security Training program is already implemented, fully compliant with this NIH requirement, and takes approximately one hour to complete.
